We gather names, contact details, payment information, and browser data from users who provide this information through website forms and online accounts. Users can create accounts to manage their data. Unity FC does not sell user information, and sharing with third parties only occurs when required by law.

2. Use of Your Information

Collected data is processed to fulfill orders, provide services, and assign individualized tickets for Unity FC events.

3. Third-Party Processors and Controllers

We engage third-party processors such as PayPal, Stripe, and Google Analytics, each processing data for specific purposes. Detailed data-sharing information is provided in section 4.

4. Data Sharing with Third Parties

In order to support our operations we rely on several Service Providers. They help us with various services such as payment processing, web audience analysis, marketing and communication, etc.

Whenever we share data with these Service Providers, we make sure that they use it in compliance with Data Protection legislation, and that the processing they carry out for us is limited to our specific purpose and covered by a specific data processing contract.

Below is a list of the Service Providers we are currently using, why we use them, and what kind of data we share with them.

  • PayPal: Payment processing on Odoo.com. Shared with PayPal: Order details (amount, description, reference), Customer name, and email. Only stored by PayPal: credit card info.
  • Stripe: Payment processing on Odoo.com. Shared with Stripe: Order details (amount, description, reference), Customer name, and email. Only stored by Stripe: credit card info.
  • Google Analytics: Anonymous website audience analysis. Shared with Google Analytics: Non-personal browser data, anonymized IP, geolocation info, language (no identifiable information).

Third Party Disclosure

Except as explicitly mentioned above, we do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties. We may share or disclose aggregated or de-identified information, for research purposes, or to discuss trends or statistics with third-parties.

5. Security Measures

We implement stringent security measures to protect your information and maintain confidentiality.

6. Cookies and Tracking

Cookies are small bits of text sent by our servers to your computer or device when you access our services. They are stored in your browser and later sent back to our servers so that we can provide contextual content. Without cookies, using the web would be a much more frustrating experience. Users can create accounts to manage their information. Requests for personal information deletion can be sent to media@unityfc.ca. Unity FC will take reasonable steps to permanently delete data, except when legal retention is required.

  • Account & Contact Data: we will only retain this data as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law.
  • Browser Data: we may retain this information for a maximum of 12 months unless required for security or legal reasons.

9. Children's Privacy

Except for event ticket assignments for Unity FC events, we do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy for clarity, to reflect website changes, or comply with legal obligations. The "Last Updated" date indicates the effective date of changes.
