Coaches Connected to the Modern Game

Great player development starts with coaches who understand the game, understand the player and know how to create environments where players can improve.

Unity FC's Player Development coaching team brings together experience across professional and international football, university soccer, the BC Premier League, BCSPL and youth player development.

Our team includes current Unity FC BC Premier League players, experienced youth coaches, former university players, goalkeeper specialists and performance professionals.

Different backgrounds. Different experiences.

One shared purpose: helping ambitious players keep developing.

Coaches Who Know The Player Journey

We believe there is value in learning from coaches who understand where players are today — and where they may be trying to go.

Our Player Development Coaches bring experience from environments including:

BC Premier League

Several Unity Player Development Coaches currently compete with Unity FC in the BC Premier League, bringing their experience from the senior game directly into player development.

University Football

Our coaching team includes current and former university student-athletes who understand the transition from youth football into the university game.

Professional & International Football

Members of Unity's broader coaching environment bring experience from professional and international football environments in Canada and abroad.

BCSPL & Youth Development

Our coaches have experience working with players within BC Soccer Premier League and community youth-development environments.

Goalkeeping & Athletic Development

Position-specific goalkeeper development and physical-performance support complement Unity's broader approach to developing the individual player.

More Than One Type of Coach

Different players need different things at different stages of their development.

That's why Unity isn't trying to build a coaching staff where everyone looks, coaches or thinks exactly the same way.

Our Player Development team works across different Unity environments, including:

Unity Performance

Unity Selects

Individual & Partner Training

Goalkeeper Development

Camps, Combines & Intensives

Strength & Athletic Development

This allows players to learn from coaches with different experiences, perspectives and areas of expertise while remaining connected to a broader development philosophy.
