Player Development Coach

Unity FC is seeking a passionate and driven Player Development Coach to lead 1-on-1, small group, and position-specific training, while also playing a key role in the delivery of youth soccer camps, player combines, and individual development plans (IDPs). The ideal candidate will have both a deep understanding of technical development and the ability to offer tactical insights and video analysis to support player growth.

• Deliver individualized and small group training focused on technical and positional development
• Plan and run week-long youth camps and high-performance combines
• Collaborate with Sporting Director and other members of the technical team to implement and monitor IDPs for players
• Provide tactical coaching aligned with game models and positional roles
• Analyze game and training footage to offer feedback and support decision-making development
• Communicate with players and families regarding progress and goals
• Foster an encouraging and professional training environment that supports Unity FC’s mission

• Canada Soccer C-License (minimum); B-License or equivalent preferred
• 2+ years of experience coaching youth or competitive-level players
• Proven ability to design and deliver 1-on-1 and position-specific training sessions
• Experience in camp or program delivery at youth or high-performance levels
• Strong understanding of tactical principles and player decision-making
• Familiarity with video analysis tools (e.g., Veo, Hudl, TacticalPad)
• Ability to build, implement, and track Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
