Built for ambitious players born in 2008 and 2009, and strengthened by a select group of experienced over-age players, the Unity FC Men’s Performance Program creates a competitive, high-performance environment designed to prepare players for the demands of senior football.
Founding Squad - Final Player Assessments
The inaugural Unity FC Men's Performance Program Founding Squad is now being finalized.
As we complete the roster for the 2026/27 season, Unity FC is accepting a limited number of additional players for assessment.
We are particularly interested in adding attacking players — including strikers, wingers and attacking midfielders — although strong players in all positions may request consideration.
Players who submit a request will be reviewed by our coaching staff. Selected players will be contacted directly regarding an assessment opportunity.
No assessment fee.

Meet Your Coaches
Vikram Puri
Co-Head Coach
Vikram played four years of varsity soccer at Quest University Canada on an athletic scholarship, serving as team captain for two seasons. His youth pathway included BCSPL experience with Coastal FC and Fusion FC, as well as USL Super Y League competition.
In 2026, Vikram served as Associate Coach with the Unity FC Men’s BC Premier League team, Assistant Coach with the Unity FC Women, and Video Coach across both first-team programs.
Currently pursuing his UEFA B Licence, Vikram also serves as Unity FC’s Player Recruitment & Growth Lead – Player Development, working to identify ambitious players, support their development and connect them with opportunities within and beyond the Unity pathway.
Rahid Rahiem
Co-Head Coach
Rahid spent four years in the Vancouver Whitecaps Residency program before playing five seasons of university soccer at Simon Fraser University, where he served as team captain.
A former Unity FC BC Premier League player, Rahid has since transitioned into coaching and currently serves as an Assistant Coach with the Unity FC Men’s BCPL team.
In spring 2026, Rahid served as Head Coach of Unity FC II, working directly with emerging players making the transition into senior football.

The Adult Performance Pathway is being developed to bridge the gap between youth football and higher levels of the game by creating meaningful competitive environments for players who want to continue training, competing and pursuing new opportunities.
Whether your ambition is to compete in Unity FC's BC Premier League First Teams, play university soccer, or pursue professional and international opportunities, the Adult Performance Pathway is designed to help players continue progressing.

Unity FC's Men's and Women's BC Premier League teams remain our First Teams.
The proposed Adult Premier environments are intended to strengthen the pathway beneath them.
The proposed environment is designed around 2–3 training sessions per week, combined with weekly league competition throughout the Fall/Winter season.
The proposed programs will be led by UEFA and Canada Soccer Licensed coaching staff.
Final appointments will be announced should the programs proceed.

These environments are intended to support ambitious players balancing football with university, work and other commitments.
The Unity FC Men's Performance Program will require a player investment to support coaching, league participation, facilities, and performance services. Full program details, including fees and payment options, will be provided before players are asked to commit.
Registering your interest creates no financial obligation.
I authorize Unity FC to photograph, film, or otherwise record the Participant during Unity FC programming and to use any photographs or media of the Participant that I upload, submit, or provide to Unity FC, including images in which the Participant may be wearing other club or team apparel.
I authorize Unity FC to use the Participant’s name, image, likeness, voice, and any club/team affiliation for promotional, educational, or commercial purposes in any media format, worldwide and in perpetuity.
I confirm that I am the legal rights holder for the Participant’s name, image, and likeness (NIL), and that no approval is required from any club, academy, or organization for this consent.
I waive any right to inspect or approve materials in which the Participant appears and understand that no compensation will be provided.
