SURREY, BC - As the calendar turns to July, the race for the League1 BC playoffs intensifies. Unity FC is preparing for a thrilling conclusion to the season with two critical away matches. This Saturday, July 6, our teams head to Kamloops to face Rivers FC at Hillside Stadium. The women's match kicks off at 3:00 PM, followed by the men's match at 6:00 PM. Two weeks later, on July 21, Unity FC travels to Nanaimo to battle Harbourside FC at Q’unq’inuqwstuxw Stadium, with the women's team starting at 12:30 PM and the men at 3:00 PM. 

Playoff Aspirations on the Line

The Unity FC Women are in a heated race for 2nd place, aiming to overtake Burnaby FC for a coveted home-field advantage in the playoffs. Currently sitting in 3rd place with 17 points, just two points behind Burnaby FC, every match is crucial.

In the Women's Division, the top four teams advance to the playoffs. The winner of the women's regular season will qualify for the Women's Interprovincial Championship, held in Hamilton, Ontario.

For the Unity FC Men, the objective is clear: create separation in the playoff race. Positioned 4th with 13 points, Unity FC Men need a strong finish to secure their spot in the postseason. Their upcoming match against Rivers FC, currently 6th with 7 points, is pivotal for their playoff ambitions.
