We Connect The Pathway
The Unity FC Summer Combine is a three-day high-performance development experience designed for ambitious players looking to challenge themselves, receive meaningful evaluation, and gain exposure to new opportunities.
Working alongside coaches from Germany's professional academy environment and Canadian development leaders, players will train in a competitive and professional environment while learning the standards, habits, and expectations required to continue progressing in the game.
All featured coaches will work directly with players throughout the event.
This is not simply a summer camp.
It is an opportunity to train, compete, learn, and challenge yourself alongside other ambitious players.
3 Combines. 12 Players Identified.
Through Unity FC Combines, 12 ambitious players have been identified for opportunities to travel and train in Germany.
Four players are currently committed to travelling to Germany this fall to train within professional club environments following identification through previous Unity FC combines.
This August, we're bringing the coaches back.

Carolin Bekemeier
Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Carolin Bekemeier is a professional academy coach with Bayer 04 Leverkusen, combining a UEFA B Licence with a B.Sc. in Sport & Performance to deliver modern, evidence-based player development. Her work focuses on helping ambitious young footballers build the technical, tactical and physical foundations required to excel in the professional academy environment. After working at Unity FC's Winter Combine in January 2026, Carolin was impressed by the quality and ambition of the players she coached and is excited to return to Surrey for this summer's event.
Maximilian Dumsky
FC Ingolstadt 04
Maximilian Dumsky is a professional academy coach with FC Ingolstadt, where he serves as Head Coach of the U14s while also contributing to the club's U21 program. His experience spans Germany's renowned academy system, including roles with the DFB Talent Development Centre, 1. FC Nürnberg and SpVgg Greuther Fürth, specializing in player development, performance analysis and modern academy methodology.
Phil König
SC Freiburg
Philo König is a professional academy coach with SC Freiburg, one of Germany's most respected player development clubs. Renowned for producing and transitioning young players into professional football, Freiburg's academy is recognized internationally for its long-term development philosophy. Philo brings that modern, player-centred approach to every training session, helping ambitious footballers maximize their technical, tactical and personal growth.
Event Format
Players will train within age-appropriate and ability-appropriate groups while working alongside all featured coaches throughout the three-day event.

Who Should Attend
The Summer Combine is designed for ambitious male and female players who are committed to their development and looking to challenge themselves in a high-performance environment.
Players currently competing in:
- BCSPL
- Metro
- Division 1
- Division 2
- Academy environments
- High-performance club pathways
will benefit from the training, evaluation, and competitive opportunities provided throughout the event.
Players will be grouped appropriately based on age and playing level.
